Get on Board

Get on Board

Virtual Trade Shows should be a part of your wholesale marketing plan.

Why are they important? Here are five reasons you should participate in our Virtual Expo and “get on board”.

  1. Stay in your studio and let the orders flow in. When you participate in our virtual expo, you can continue to work in your studio, process any orders right away, and continue to create your products. No need to be out of your studio for over a week only to come back to a pile of orders, low inventory, and unanswered messages. Our expo allows you to stay on top of the orders and begin processing them immediately.

  2. Little or no expenses! Purchasing a booth and participating in an in-person trade show is expensive. They are important in promoting and selling your products to retailers, but it is a big chunk of change. With our Virtual Expos, there are no expenses except for the booth fee ($269), and most times a Virtual Expo booth is included in the purchase of a Buyer’s Guide ad. You will save thousands of dollars when you participate in our expo and all you have to do is sit back and watch the orders come in.

  3. Donate an item. We give participating artists a chance to donate items for our daily Buyer Giveaways. We have up to 5 giveaways each day during the expo and the buyers love it! Not only that, many artists who have donated items go on to receive orders from those buyers. It is a win-win for all.

  4. Show off new work! Our Virtual Expos are the perfect week to debut new work or a new line. We do a lot of marketing on your behalf and we open up the participating list to the buyers weeks before the expo. This way they see all the show specials and start planning their buying weeks ahead of the expo. Make sure you load new work and also mark it as new work. Buy a Premium Ad that shows on the Virtual Expo website all seven days, or buy an ad in our daily emails that go out during the show. These are both good marketing tools for your brand.

  5. Make connections! The week of the expo is a very busy week. The buyer traffic is extremely high so be present and be available. Send emails to your buyers and new buyers and let them know you are participating and what your show special is. Turn on your live chat! When you do this buyers can reach out to you in real-time, and ask questions about your work or lead time. This is a great way to start a new business relationship and hopefully add a new retail partner.,

We created our Virtual Expo in early 2020 when the world began to close down. In-person trade shows were being canceled and stores were scrambling. We wanted something virtual that would emulate an in-person trade show as much as possible to help the artists and the buyers survive during this hard time.

Not only did it help them survive but THRIVE! It has turned out to be a big part of their sales and we are very proud of how it has helped both the retailer and the artist. Retailers now look forward to our expos by taking advantage of the great show specials and artists receive multiple orders without ever leaving their studios.

Learn more about our Virtual Expo and be a part of a successful week of buying and selling. Our next expo is February 8-14, 2023. See you online! Virtual Expo
